Position Overview

We are looking for a Deputy Construction Director to take a leading operational role in the delivery of a large-scale residential development.

The position is responsible for the day-to-day control of construction activities, ensuring that the project is executed according to approved schedules, budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Construction Director in managing all construction activities on site.

• Control project schedule, milestones, and progress against approved programs.

• Monitor contractor performance and enforce site discipline.

• Coordinate contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

• Identify delays and implement recovery actions.

• Review construction progress, claims, variations, and payment requests.

• Control quality standards, inspections, testing, and handover processes.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.

• Prepare regular progress reports and performance dashboards.

• Apply earned value logic for schedule and cost control.

• Use digital construction and online construction management platforms for site control, reporting, and QA/QC.

Candidate Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Architecture.

Experience

• 10+ years in construction.

• 5+ years in senior site or project management roles.

• Experience in large-scale residential or mixed-use projects.

• Full construction cycle experience, from project start to handover (end-to-end responsibility,mandatory).

• English language - advance level

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Project – strong user (mandatory).

• Advanced Excel & reporting skills.

• Experience with progress dashboards, cost and schedule control.

• Knowledge of QA/QC and site management systems.
